Exchange Policy for Sew Childhood

1. Who Can Request an Exchange
If you purchased an item from Sew Childhood (via our website or official channels), you may request an exchange under the conditions below.

2. How to Request an Exchange

• Contact our Customer Service team via email sew.childhood@gmail.com to request an exchange.

• Provide your order reference number or confirmation (printed or screenshot), along with the reason for exchange.

• Wait for confirmation/approval from Customer Service. Exchange requests made without prior confirmation will not be processed.

Once approved, you may choose one of the following exchange methods (subject to availability):

• Visit one of our designated physical locations / boutiques (if applicable).

• Ship the item back via your chosen courier service — note: we do not support self drop-off or pick-up at warehouse unless specified.

3. Time Limits and Item Condition

• Exchange must be requested within 7 days of delivery for clothing/apparel items.

• Items must be unused, unwashed, with all original tags and labels intact, and in their original packaging.

• Exchanges are valid only for regular-priced items. Special/discounted/sale items, bundle items, or accessories may be excluded unless the exchange is due to obvious defects or errors.

4. Acceptable Reasons for Exchange
We will accept exchange requests if any of the following apply:

• You received a damaged or defective item.

• The item you received does not match its description or listing (e.g. wrong size/colour/product).

• The item delivered is incorrect or missing essential parts.

5. What is Not Eligible for Exchange
We do not accept exchanges for items returned solely due to “change of mind” (e.g. you no longer want the item), or dissatisfaction when the item matches the description and arrived in good condition.

6. Exchange Value & Price Differences

• You may exchange for an item with the same price as the original.

• If the replacement item is more expensive, you agree to pay the price difference before the exchange is completed.

• If the replacement item is cheaper, any difference in price will be forfeited (i.e. no refund or store credit unless otherwise stated).

• We cannot guarantee availability of the replacement item; in case the desired item is out of stock, we will contact you to propose alternatives or next steps.

7. Shipping Costs (if applicable)
If you choose courier exchange: you (the customer) will shoulder the shipping cost for sending the item back as well as shipping the replacement item, unless specified otherwise. Self drop-off or pick-up at our warehouse is not supported (unless explicitly offered).

8. What to Do Before Requesting Exchange

• Keep the order confirmation email/invoice (printed or digital).

• Retain all tags, labels, packaging, original condition of the item.

• Contact Customer Service promptly within the timeframe specified above.
